Since I've started writing this blog over two years ago, I am always interested to hear what people say about keeping to a healthy eating plan. The thing is, there doesn't seem to be one correct answer to solving our countries obesity problem. Yes, on one hand I do see that it is ultimately up to the individual to eat good, healthy foods, but what about kids? Its not like they have the capability to decide what is best for their diet -- they need the help of their parents, right? And parents? What if they are "junk food" eaters? Good luck with instilling good habits at a young age! What about the role of governments, schools, health care providers and the food industry, they should participate in providing good, sound guidance to eating healthier foods and healthier portion sizes too, right? As you can see this is a difficult predicament, but resolution can be found, it will just take a lot of work.
If obesity is considered a serious health problem for a nation, then how can it be solved individually?
