Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie

Happy Thursday!!  Thirsty Thursday that is!

Confession time, I actually hate Thursdays.  They’re like close to Friday, but not quite.  Close to the weekend, yet, still far away!  A work friend and I were debating this subject earlier this week, she disagrees and thinks Tuesdays are the worst.  So far from the end of the week.  By the end of this discussion, the only thing we agreed on was Fridays are awesome!

When I was in college, Friday classes were rare, most of the time we had 3 day weekends.  Do you know that feeling of, I wish I knew how lucky and awesome life is AT THE TIME.  Like when I look back on my high school photos, and I totally remember thinking I was fat, and now, the weight I was in H.S. is BELOW my current goal weight!?

So, since we never had Friday classes in college, the party always got started Thursday nights.  Hence, Thirsty Thursday!  Today’s post however, is a little less college thirsty, and a little more grown-up-adult-thirsty.  As in, this post is about a protein smoothie.  Dear life, you have changed.

Even more strange is how excited I am about this smoothie.  It is sooo good. Like SO.   Is it straw-beer-rita good?  Ummm, yeah, no.  But is it a super yummy breakfast, that almost prepares me to face Thursday? (Read: Not. Friday.)  Oh yes!  Who doesn’t love chocolate for breakfast?  Almost make me feel like a crazy college kid again.  And if you get a bad brain freeze, that’s like almost like a hangover.  memories.
