Oooooo honey, I absolutely love myself a milkshake! Especially when chopping down on one of my guilty pleasures, french fries! No sweat, I don’t eat them often at all *wink.* However, as much as I love milkshakes my body just can not handle the aftermath of consuming’em! * Shaking My Head*
So, what did I do?!I came up with a healthier alternative to having my milkshake & drinking it, too (childish neck roll).
Banana Mango Dairy Free Milkshake
2 7″ Bananas, Frozen
1/2 Ripened & Peeled Mango, Frozen
1″ of a Vanilla Bean
1 1/4 C Coconut Water (more or less depending on your desired thickness)
Just simply start out by peeling the bananas and 1/2 of a fresh mango. Place them in the freezer for about 3 – 5 hours. After this time has elapsed, remove the fruit from the freezer & place into the blender along with the vanilla bean. Start out with about 3/4 cup of coconut water in the blender. Blend on medium-high. Add more coconut water if needed based on your desired thickness.
And BAAAMMMM! There you have yourself a dairy free, all natural, no added sugars, no artificial colors, no animal products… need I say more?! Naaahhhh, didn’t think so. Have fun (yolo:-) & until next time #beyoubenatural.
