Vegan Savory Southern Tarts with Butter Bean Puree, Fresh Figs and Sweet Tea Drizzle

This little Southern belle is all "tarted up"!

Though the combination of ingredients may sound a little odd at first--butter mean puree, fresh figs, a sweet-savory tea-based sauce, and sage--it is mouth-watering!  And oh-so-pretty.

I have found that produce that grows in the same season is usually very compatible on the palate, not to mention beautiful on the plate.

Plus, it goes together really quickly, especially for a dish that is special enough for company.
