What Noah Taught Me About Conservation and Global Warming

Did Darren Aronofsky pull a bait-and-switch with his movie, Noah? Although the movie is based on stories from the Bible, I felt like it was almost a cautionary tale against man's negligence of the earth. Seeing  the earth without flowers or berries was so stark.

Today's news is all about the latest food crisis.  There is not enough food  due to the fact that extreme weather is making climate less reliable. Crops can go under due to polar vortex and drought.

Noah believes in God and wants to do what the Creator has directed him to do. However, we can't ever wash away all the wicked and only keep the good people.  There is good and bad in all of us.

Noah and his family show respect to the animals and the land. The wicked people in the cities seemed to have none.

I was initially taken aback by the Watchers who reminded me of something out of Games of Thrones or Transformers, but they didn't get in the way of the core story.
