"We Built This" in Tweets
With all the criticism of the lack of diversity within the Republican party, it seems the Grand Ole Party has trotted out every high profile brown or female person on stage for Tuesday night's "We Built This" program.

The evening opened up with country singer Lane Turner playing to the crowd:
Country singer Lane Turner is wowingcrowd: Lane Turner. GOP conventions are little bit country; Democrats are a little bit rock and roll.
"Blood, Sweat & Freedom"... this Lane Turner really knows his market.

Also a much anticipated speaker, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, the first Indian American woman to become a governor, took to the podium with a speech focusing on new voter ID regulations:

But tonight's big headliner? Ann Romney, the would-be First Lady of the United States. In a much anticipated speech filled with the down home persona Mrs. Romney is trying to infuse into the Romney-Ryan ticket. Some tweeters were impressed by her chipper, polished speech:
Good thing for Obama campaign it is not running against Ann Romney. She is knocking it out of the park.
Ann Romney appears to be genuinely having fun.
But all Ann Romney's repeated comments about her "normal marriage" and seemed to project a message that wasn't lost to other tweeters.
Ann Romney on what a real marriage is-- all power to that....but GOP platform restricts what full range of marriage is/
And the anecdotes about living on pasta and tuna fish?
Ann Romney, the voice for the poor and disenfranchised...who her husband fired.
After a brief appearance and embrace from her husband Mitt, the Romneys left the stage, making room for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The rising GOP star lived up to his blustery persona with a speech that mixed working class references and union busting that seemed more fit for a 2016 Presidential run.
This speech is ALL about Christie. He doesn't care about Mitt.
Christie talks on teachers union.I WAS A.TAX PAYING PARENT WITH 3 KIDS IN SCHOOL IN NJ WHEN THIS HAPPENED ....and I supported him 24/7!!!
I don't think all of this makes sense...and Romney looks pissed off
