Writing poetry about superstition isn't as easy as it looks. Writing about being unlucky takes a broader view of the world of the absurd. After all, what kind of bad luck are we talking about?
Do we refer to ourselves only when discussing bad luck? Should we include the story about Aunt Clara's inability to get one spell correct? Did you know there was an actual term for that problem? Me neither.
I've taken two views of the "lack of luck" syndrome in my poetry blog for the day. Take a quick minute and pop over to view the two I submitted this morning for the PA April's Poem-A-Day Challenge. You'll find them at: http://claudsy.wordpress.com/2012/04/13/striking-fear-in-the-heart-of-man/
Enjoy the short job over and laugh while you're there. It's good for your health. Okay, at least smile.
