What can I say? I’m still kinda caught up on the idea that I almost didn’t follow through with this series after the first couple of books. This book was SO. FUN. It would have been such a shame.
I feel like Cammie will came into her own in this book. For all of the amnesia and stress about the things she didn’t know, she really uncovered all of her own awesomeness. I like a strong female teenage protagonist. This book is more grown up than the others, and goes to some darker places. Its okay though. Cammie and the girls are getting older, more mature, and more capable. Its nice to see them “handle” things. You know, the spies “handle” things. Speaking of the other girls, I was a bit irritated with some of the other characters in the book, and the turn that some of the relationships take. It all worked out in a very satisfactory way, however.
I have a long list of other things that I like about this book, but am wary of spoilers (it is book five, after all) and would hate to ruin it for anyone. Just get to reading.
I give it:
