I will go to bed tonight with a heavy heart, and count my blessings. I will wake up tomorrow and not complain about it being too cold when I get out of bed, or the smell of a stinky cat box, or the dirty dishes piling up.
I will try not to watch too much news, and instead play soft music, then go for an extra long walk with my dog and son, and stop and look at all the Christmas decorations along the away, then smile, then cry, then smile again.
When I return home I will slow down a little more, look out at the shadow-grey trees, listen to the hungry birds in the backyard at the bird feeder, make gingerbread and pumpkin spice tea, read my pile of library books, then smile, then cry, them smile again.
