$20K grants to women willing to embrace the digital media frontier to deliver the news

Traditional news media is imploding, but the public still needs the news.  If you are an aspiring entrepreneur with innovative ideas about how  to deliver the news in the digital media frontier, apply for a $20K grant to get your initiative started.

The International Women’s Media Foundation is offering three $20,000 grants to transform innovative ideas into reality.  Women journalists seeking funds to launch new media enterprises must apply online at www.iwmf.org by November 30, 2010.  In addition to funding, the three winners will receive invaluable advice from successful entrepreneurs through coaching sessions and access to additional support.  Winners will be announced February 15, 2011.

Want to learn more?  Visit our grant FAQ page, or email newmediagrants@iwmf.org with your questions.
