Summer is here, and it's time to try out the summer fashion trends ... or not. Would you wear these looks? Swipe the Swipp below each picture to vote! Stacy, Julie, and I will be voting, as well!
First Trend: Flowered Jeans
Rita: I rocked this look when I was twelve, and I will not be rocking it again.
Julie: I like all flowers. Most of my wardrobe is florals; always has been. I’d wear the right flowery jeans.
Stacy: The flowered jeans, they are everywhere. I have seen a zillion pair. And only one that I thought was any good: On BlogHer's very own Monique Maestas-Gower. They had a black background and strong colors, oversized flowers: reds, cobalt, grey, white. They were awesome (and from Current/Elliott, so no surprise on the awesome). The dainty ones? I don't like 'em.

Next Trend: Tulip Skirt
Rita: I would wear this. I'm not a huge fan of showing off my knees, though, so it would have to be really flattering at the waist.
Stacy: Tulip skirts are totally flattering. The long vertical line of the overlapped front erases any damage the gentle gathers would do. Love.
Julie: Not for me. It seems I like all flowers except for tulips. Sorry, Netherlands.

Next Trend: Thick-Heeled Sandals
Rita: I don't know. I'd have to try them on. When my grandmother died, I inherited her extensive shoe collection, and they all looked like this.
Julie: Stacy wore a bright pink pair kind of like these to announce the ROOTS reading at BlogHer Food and I swear I heard a collective gasp -- “Oooooh, shoooessss!” -- go up. I love them!
Stacy: Love a chunky heel. And not only because they are so easy to walk in. This one could stand to be a half-inch taller so it looked a little less blocky, but an all-around yes.

Next Trend: Hi-Lo Everything
Rita: I really hate anything longer in back and shorter in front. The end.
Julie: Mullet cuts are dumb, but at least you know you don’t have your dress on backwards.
Stacy: This hi-lo trend started about two summers ago, in floaty dresses with a chiffon overlayer that floated behind you like wings. I liked it then for a bit. Now I have seen 26,742 versions. And I want it to stop.

Final Trend: Peplum T-shirt
Rita: I totally have a peplum body. I'd wear this.
Julie: I think this trend is still hanging on because people like saying “peplum.”
Stacy: Peplum, yes. Peplum t-shirt? No! It's architecture! It's not a ruffle!! Best on a dress or jacket.
