Here are six things to think about if you want to do your own wedding hair:

Tip 1: You will need to set aside time and practice your wedding hair look. Set aside all of the tools (brushes, blow dryer, pins, accessories) and make a list of all the things you will need. If you won't be doing your hair at home make sure you pack all of your tools early and pack well - double and triple check!

Tip 2: If you are doing your hair at your home put everything in a basket and hide it away to bring out fresh and ready for your special day. You want to have everything fresh for your wedding hair.

Tip 3: Schedule times for everyone in the house to have a shower - you should make sure you are not rushed when doing your wedding hair.

Tip 4: Make sure there is a mirror and a clear counter or table for you to have space to do your wedding hair - you do not want to feel cluttered this will only make it stressful.

Tip 5: Take a look at your outlets and make sure they will be able to handle all of the tools. You might need a power bar or an extension cord so that everything will have a plug. If you are doing your hair at a hotel, make sure they will be able to accommodate all of the things you need to plug in for yourwedding hair. Older inns and Bed & Breakfast's may not have as many outlets or one near good lighting.

6. Put all of your pretty under things on first and cover up with a button down shirt or robe. This way after hair and makeup are done, just slip into your gown!
