It's easy to figure out what women might like for Valentine's Day, in my opinion. Flowers, a pretty necklace, chocolate -- there's no end to the things, great and small that women might enjoy receiving from their sweethearts on February 14th. But what about the guys? What do men want? One the one hand, I think we can all well imagine what the gentlemen want -- but I'm talking about something we can wrap up for them. The possibilities are endless, but I've narrowed it down to five choices for you. You're welcome!
A famous ball-park stadium pen. These pens, from Red Envelope, are "Designed to look as smooth and inviting as a brand new bat, each rhodium-plated pen sports a hand-turned wooden barrel, crafted from authentic stadium-seat wood from America's most famous and beloved stadiums. All are engraved with the stadium name and timeline, and arrive with a signed card of authenticity." Nice.
A pair of fabulous earphones. I never think about it much but the guys I live with live for good audio. Bose makes the best earphones in the business...and, chances are, he'll appreciate them.
A beautiful belt is the cornerstone of a great wardrobe. Treat your fella to a belt made by Coach, the belt-makers.
Are you the type to send secret love notes? Give him a set of secret message cufflinks -- they come with a wee container for you to include a tiny love poesy. Sit back and imagine him reading your note in a board meeting.
Is your man a little more traditional? A monogrammed money-clip is always a lovely gift.
Somehow, Valentine's day has turned into the day men shower women with gifts. This year, I think it's time to remember the men!
Can you come up with more unique gifts for the guys?
