Michelle Williams brings the Bombshell back in My Week with Marilyn. When I think of Old Hollywood Beauty, names like Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, Jean Harlow, Jayne Mansfield and the ultimate Blonde Bombshell, Marilyn Monroe come to mind. With the awards season getting started full on this Sunday at the Golden Globes airing January 15th, 2012. All of Hollywood will be getting red carpet ready.

Do you know how to channel your inner BOMBSHELL?
Here are a few quick doB tips:
Step #1 Apply a foundation that best matches your complexion then dust with a fleshy toned powder to create a matte finish. Dust the apples of your cheek with a soft pink or peach blush. Try Lancome Mattifying Silky Pressed Powder, DiorSkin Nude Natural Glow Makeup and Chanel Powder Blush in Rose Bronze.
Step #3 Cover your eyelid with a sheer shimmery eye shadow. This could be gold, silver or pink. We like Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color in Bone

Step #4 Use black liquid eyeliner, for the less experienced use an eyeliner pencil, much easier to use. CHANEL AUTOMATIC LIQUID EYELINER in Noir or CHANEL LE CRAYON YEUX PRECISION EYE DEFINER in Black. Apply on the base of your lash line starting from the inside and gradually thicken the line when moving outwards. At the very end slightly make the line go upwards creating a winging effect.
Step #5 Apply several coats of you favoritemascara especially on the top lashes creating a false lash look. For the truly Bombshell inspired. You could apply false lashes before Step #4 then continue as recommended.
Step #6 Your look could not be complete without the application of the perfect red. When choosing your red, be sure to find a matte lip liner in a matching shade.
