Faux fur, and especially faux fur vests, are THE hottest look of the season and available everywhere. These funky accessories can be dressed up with a sheer blouse and kicky skirt with heels or worn casually with jeans and boots - but however you wear it, now's the time to get one or gift one.
Herewith, the faux fur vest, to get, to give, from low to high!
At $35.00, there isn't a thing wrong with the Old Navy Faux Fur Vest. It hits at the waist so you can't throw a belt around it but it is machine washable (many are not). At $35.00 you probably won't care if it's not still in fashion next winter.
This one is $75.00 at Piperlime and is a "feather fur" vest which, interestingly enough, is neither feathers nor fur. What it is is chic and soft and totally wearable with pockets and a slightly longer line. It has great reviews for everyone but petites as it's a little bulky...still lovely, though.
And speaking of sizes, not everyone is a petite and Nordstrom has vests for ladies of every size. I like this one as it has two textures of "fur" and could be belted or worn open.
If it's good enough for Demi Moore (who's modeling for Ann Taylor) it's good enough for me. This Ann Taylor version of fall's big trend is $189.
Halston Heritage's vest is $345 but it's luxurious and beautifully cut. Click back to Piperlime to see it.
What if you aren't interested in investing in a full vest but like the look and cozy feeling of fake fur?
How about this sweet little collar from Anthropologie? It could be just enough with a turtleneck and trousers.
Then there's this bolero from Fabulous Furs. It's adorable, especially if you aren't especially curvy and would like to draw some attention to your top half.
Perhaps just a touch of faux is more your style? This one's at Overstock.com and comes in two colors at a great price, $31.99.
Macy's has this very elegant scarf which would be a lovely gift, from Michael Kors.
Finally, if you'd rather be playful...
There's nothing cuter than a trapper hat. Warm and fun, this one's from Urban Outfitters.
At $14.99 you could buy one for yourself and every lucky lady you know.
These are just a few of the hundreds of faux fur accessories I browsed to bring you this selection.
There is truly something for everyone on your list...or for you!
