You won't believe how easy this is! And I am pretty sure you all will have the ingredients right in your kitchen.

I got inspired because my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer smelled like chocolate—so I checked the ingredients: Talc, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Zinc Stearate, Boron Nitride, Sodium Saccharin, Benzyl Benzoate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum/Fragrance, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Fruit Powder, Benzyl Alcohol, Silica, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Mica. May Contain/Peut Contenir/(+/-): Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742).

Of course it was in there: cocoa powder! It is not magic that it smells that way. But there are also so many unpronounceable ingredients, which always kind of scare me. Now my recipe, on the other hand, has only three ingredients: cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and cinnamon! This bronzer will cost you only cents.

3 simple ingredients: powdered sugar, cinnamon and cocoa powder .

Be careful with the cinnamon, as some people react allergic to it. Apply it to test for 24 hours on your skin. Instead of the powdered sugar, you could use also cornstarch or arrowroot powder. It's really is only about finding the right color for you. You can get creative here with spices, and use turmeric or nutmeg, both of which are generally good for your skin—whatever your heart (or your skin tone) desires.

Then you just mix the ingredients. I really like to use a whisk for this, as it gets rid of bigger grains.

Mix the ingredients carefully.

I used my Too Faced Bronzer as a color reference. If it needs to be lighter, use more powdered sugar. If it is too light, use more cocoa powder. It's as simple as that.

My Too Faced Bronzer was my color reference .

Once you've mixed the right color, you want to put it through a sifter a couple of times.

Sift your mix.

If you have bigger grains left in your sifter, throw them away.

We do not want these big chunks in our bronzer!

Now you are basically already done! Find yourself a cute little jar or a compact to put the powder in.

And press it a bit down with a spoon.

Press it!

Now comes the best part: Use it! You will be surprised how well it works. Even with all the pressing, you won't be able to make it like a compact, so treat it carefully, like a loose powder.

My bronzer is more like a loose powder.

You will not need a lot because the color is so deep. And you will smell delicious the whole day!

Now I dare you to try it. And let me know how this worked out for you!
