Maternity clothes. I have an issue with them sometimes. Correction, I have an issue with price. I have found that when I find something I LOVE it is also ridiculously expensive. Granted, certain pieces are staples, and that is fine, but I'm talking about a dress you'll wear once. My solution thus far is to just wear stuff I have in my closet until it doesn't fit. That brings us to today's outfit. I just started trying on clothes to see what fits and what (humorously) does NOT.

Have I mentioned that I love things from Target? None of which are new, but I'm quite happy that I purchased this dress and I love the coral color of the clutch. Metallics are basically considered a neutral these days, so I used the clutch as the accent color and mirrored the metallic gold of the belt with those in the shoes. I could also wear this dress with flats or some nude heels. If you have a loud print on top, I would steer clear of crazy shoes. That's a bit less fashion and a bit more crazy (and not a good crazy....) and you lose the sophistication of the look. Like I said, metallics are neutral so those are always an option.
That is my maternity advice for the day: wear what still fits. (At least when you're picking something that is easily recognizable.) Obviously I can wear this once or twice and be done, which is fine. Also, I'm loving wedges. SO COMFORTABLE!! Hopefully this inspires you to grab some things out of your closet and reimagine them into a new combination.
Have a great Wednesday everyone!
