Woo hoo! Mama finally got a less baby looking diaper bag!! For the past year I feel like my diaper bag has weighed 2 tons and it was getting so uncomfortable to drag all over the place :( Now that Odette is approaching a year old I am finally able to take certain things out of my bag. I also carry a lot of other essential things, such as a change of clothes, in the car (post to come soon!).
Besides the obvious changing pad, diapers & wipes here's a list of what I have in my diaper bag:
Plum Organic Pouches: I like this brand because they don't have many preservatives and they are great to have on hand when we eat out at restaurants. Although Odette is becoming a lot more interested in mommy and daddy's food.
Ella's Organic Baby Cookies: These are great for a treat without having too much sugar and they're organic!
Hand Sanitizer: I like babyganics foam hand sanitizer because it blends in a lot easier then the gel version.
Baby Aquaphor: I keep this in my diaper bag just because Odette has eczema and her skin can get really dry at times.
Disposable Bibs: These are great to save those cute little outfits while eating out!
Disposable Placemats: I love to have these since Odette likes to feed herself nowadays. We got her the Princess ones, but they have a lot of different varieties so you can pick whichever your kiddo likes.
After laying everything out I can't believe how small my diaper bag is now! It feels so nice not to lug around so much and just maybe I'll be able to fit something for myself in my purse now! What are the essentials you keep in your toddler diaper bag?
