Black & White and Everything's All Right

Don't you love when the fashion gods smile down upon you? Well, they have done so with one of the big upcoming Spring trends: Black and White combo! It's like they went and looked in my closet and thought: "Let's not make Kali go broke this spring updating her wardrobe. There's a lot of black and white in here, so let's just make that the season's hottest trend."

Well, fashion gods, my budget thanks you! And nothing makes me happier than rocking some bold black and white!

Here are the runway looks....

And in case your closet isn't already black&white stocked like mine, here's how you can get the look...

And in other news: I took my big test on Friday that I've been studying for since... September/October? And I passed!!! So I've earned my CMP (Certified Meeting Professional). I am SO relieved it's over and SO excited to have achieved this to further my professional life! Also really exicted that I can go back to reading for fun! I have 4 new books I can't wait to crack open!

Puppy update: We had people over for the Super Bowl last night and Piper was really great. She was hesitant about one of the guys which was weird, but warmed up after a while and relaxed on the couch all night. She is still going after the cats, and they still don't like it. She actually peed twice in the house the past couple days, which is weird because she's been so good about it. We'll just have to keep working with her!

Kitty update: Junior is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our lost baby who I was SO worried about has come home after 5 days and I cannot tell you how happy I am. We were sitting on the couch and heard cat crying outside the door. We assumed it was Ollie (other cat) wanting back inside. So Tim got up to get him and was like "It's the fat man!!" and I was like "DONT JOKE RIGHT NOW!!" Well he was serious and I started crying tears of joy! (So dramatic, I know.) Junior, aka Fat Man was covered in mud so he went right in the bath. He was pissed, but I was so happy to see him I didn't care! Now he's all clean and cuddly.. and NEVER going outside AGAIN! :)

Junior happy to be home

Have a great Monday, fabu-lites!
