Have you ever thought about what it is like After Cataract ?
Well, here is a way to find out all about life After Cataract Surgery.....
For over 16 months now I have been looking after both my parents due to cataract complications. My father who went under the knife 3 years ago came out good, but I will tell you what the outcome and implications have been since later.
My mother had her fist surgery 18/19 months ago and boy, were we in for a surprise change in personality, and not for the better either.
Yet what we didn't expect was the surgeon to blatently tell lies or should that be "mask the truth?"
When giving statistics we were told that she had 98% chance of succes rate and she had no concerns what was going to happen after cataract surgery had been completed. 98% was a good success rate, well that should of been 1 in 50 people showed trauma after cataract surgery.
All sounds great huh? Not on your life is it - and more so the figure of 1 in 50 is actually 1 in 25 when you scratch the surface and reveal the truth... because, it certainly isnt what he was saying and, possibly even closer to 96%.
So, without drifting, it failed in some big fashion and has now decided to move residence into her good eye.. and we thought we would have problems the first time. Her surgery went ahead as normal and, we now find out she is suffering again with not just blurred vision, but also floating particles in her capsule.
Now, the very strange part to this is my father needs her as his guide due to the fact he is registered disabled - which means mother was looking after him 24/7.
Between myself and the rest of the extended family, we are now having to be around best part of the day due to the fact that she can not see to fill the water in the jug to make him a hot drink.
Anyway, we are waiting now for a date for her to go back to the specialist for more treatment in hope we can at least save her sight.
So has my 16 months of research been wasted? Not at all, and this is the hopeful part of the story. I have now compiled all of my knowledge into a digital guide in hope that it will help many people around the world. And what is more, a % of the profits I am giving to a good cause, in fact a better than good one - a great one!
So please, if you have just an gram of concern about what it will be like after surgery, how the statistics are flawed or, what you can do as soon as you know you have cataract and elect for surgery to dieting to help, certain foods to help fight the cataract - and i could go on for hours so I should stop right now.
Please, if you know anyone that need to know anything about life after cataract then I would hope you would send them to my website so they can read my story, and hopefully donwload the guide.
Thanks for reaing, and please, if you tell just one person it would help many people world wide.
