I love new beauty products so much, that when something comes out I always want to try it. Unfortunately if something doesn't work to my liking, it ends up sticking around in the back of my bathroom closet for ages.

Fortunatelty there are some pretty useful alternative ways to use these beauty products. These tips are a great way to use up old products that aren't you favorites. It will help keep the clutter down because you won't have to buy those items that you have a beauty alternative for!

1. Lip Balm

Lip Balm has several great alternative uses. You can mix it with a little shimmery eyeshadow to make a highlighter that looks great on your cheeks. You can also use lip balm in place of a cutile cream to trim your cuticles with ease. Finally it is amazing for putting over small cuts from shaving, or overtop of red acne before applying makeup.

4. Deodorant

Deodorants are something I always have 12 unfished tubes of. It is great to swipe on feet before wearing heels to prevent blisters, and you can rub some on inner thighs to prevent chaffing. Pro tip: use the white, non gel kind for these hacks like the powder fresh secret brand or similar.
