Oprah's announcement in her own words

Oprah has confirmed to viewers that she will be ending The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2011.

The iconic television personality shared the Oprah news with viewers at the end of a show that featured Precious actress Gabourey Sidibe and Ray Romano, who was there to promote his new TNT show Men of a Certain Age.

"After much prayer and months of careful thought, I have decided that next season, season 25, will be the last season of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Over the next couple of days, you may hear a lot of speculation in the press about why I am making this decision now...and that will mostly be conjecture.

Gone with the Wind celebrates 70 years

Gone with the Wind is considered one of the greatest films of all time. Winner of 10 Oscars in 1939 including Best Picture, Gone with the Wind took the top prize for a year known for phenomenal Hollywood movie making.

Review: Bullock's Blind Side perfect family film

The Blind Side may star Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw, but the November 20 film’s true celebrities are the real-life Tuohy family. Leigh Ann, her husband Sean, their children eight-year-old SJ and teenager, Collins.

Oprah Winfrey says goodbye to daytime TV

Oprah Winfrey is pulling the plug on her beloved talk show in 2011.

While the iconic media personality is scheduled to announce her departure on the show herself, the president of Harpo announced the news in a letter to ABC affiliate TV station managers earlier.

"Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history," wrote Tim Bennett. " The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011."

Miley Cyrus hates Twilight

Miley Cyrus is no Twilight fan.

The Disney star gave a super-annoying interview in which she said "like" almost every other word. In between her Valley Girl, nearly incoherent rambles she managed to rain all over the Twilight parade.

In a recent interview, Miley talked about how much she hates the series. She said, "I've never seen it and nor will I ever. I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires. ...
