New Moon comes home: DVD review
Whether or not the latest chapter in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series is worth buying on DVD and Blu-ray when The Twilight Saga: New Moon is irrelevant. There are tens of millions of fans awaiting the opportunity to witness the Edward versus Jacob volley for Bella’s heart over and over and over.
As SheKnows said in our New Moon theatrical review, “(New Moon) keeps faithful to the Meyer’s literary saga, but what is so successful about the cinematic representation of New Moon is how the theme of love permeates. When Bella discovers that the only way she can be around Edward is to push herself beyond comfortable limits. It is exactly at that point that she sees Jacob in a new light...this is a terrific film."
