Take cover

Take care to protect your skin beyond just slathering it with sunscreen, (which you should already do often if you are going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time). Avoid the sun during its peak of intensity; the sun's rays are the most damaging between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you have to be out, wear protective clothing such as hats, sunglasses and long-sleeve shirts.
