We're not really sure what it is about Birkenstocks, but you can't not love them. The sandal burst onto the scene way back in the '60s, and though they wane in popularity every now and again, they keep popping up as a new trend every couple of years or so — and we're totally not complaining. Birks are comfy, versatile and have a hippie vibe everyone can dig — even if you're the farthest thing from a hippie.
But for a sandal that was first made popular by the all-natural, peace and one-love crowd, Birkenstocks sure cost a pretty penny. So what do you do when you want to live in some Birks, but can't (or won't) shell out upward of 100 bucks? You purchase some stellar look-alikes, that's what you do.
We found a bunch of sandals that have that same Birkenstock-y feel but are at a price point that is much more agreeable.
