White jeans and a pink shirt

jeans with a pop of color

Looking for the perfect outfit for a night out with friends? Look no further! White jeans always have and always will be a stylish wardrobe staple, and this year, I'm updating them with another summer favorite — a pretty fitted blouse.

Every spring, I start pining for my white jeans. They're such a classic, timeless piece that I will never stop loving. This year, one way I'm freshening them up is by pairing them with a bright pink blouse. I love blouses. They're pretty, feminine, and when cut just right, flattering while still be forgiving. That's a big task to pull off, but the blouse does it well.

This is an outfit I'd wear on a Friday night out for margaritas and tacos with my girlfriends. In the summer, we love to sit on the patio at our favorite Mexican restaurant. Wedge clogs add a little bit of flirtiness without compromising on comfort. (Comfort has definitely gone up on my list of priorities since becoming a mom.)

Blouse: Madewell, $70, Similar/Forever 21, $25

Bright colors are perfect for summer and this blouse is a fun neon shade. Blouses are so pretty and lightweight for those warm days and nights.

Jeans: J Brand, $172, Similar/Old Navy, $30

The only downfall to white jeans is they get dirty really easily when around little hands, which is exactly why I usually save them for nights out with my husband or friends.

Shoes: Target (unavailable), Similar/ Target, $24, Similar/Swedish Hasbeens, $205

These shoes are sky high (I think the heel is almost four inches), but because of the almost-wedge style, they're still comfortable and easy to walk in. These are my go-to pair of shoes when I want to add some height and lengthen the look of my legs and body.
