How to get beachy waves

Step 1: Brush it out

Before styling, brush out your hair to ensure it's free of any tangles or knots.

Step 2: Curl loosely all over

Using the Style Winder, curl roughly 1-inch sections all over your head. Remember, you're going for a slightly messy look, so don't worry about holding the curls for very long.

Step 3: Straighten your ends

Take your curler and smooth out your ends so they're slightly straighter than the rest of your hair to really achieve that easygoing, beachy style.

Step 4: Lock in the style

Use a pomade and run your fingers through your hair to break up the curls and mess up the look a little bit more. Secure with hairspray and you're ready to go!
