Stylish Socks And Heels

Socks with heels? We say why not! You might think your pumps and peep toes won’t work with your collection of knee high and ankle socks, but the right combinations can be ultra-cute. We’ve sourced seven pairs of must-have heels and paired them with socks for a simple way to try the trend this winter.

Lace and leather look

Lace and leather

We love this look: Lace and leather is a sexy combination and we’re loving these adorable lace trim ankle socks ($6) with black patent leather peep-toe pumps ($70).

Polka dots and platforms

Polka dots are one of those patterns that just screams fun, but when you pair it with sky-high platform pumps, you get a cute yet chic combination. Try these white and gray polka dot socks ($20) with blue suede platform pumps ($89).

Slouchy and sophisticated

Slouchy socks are ultra-comfy, especially in the cold weather, but pair them with a shoe that’s more structured and you have a winning look. We can’t wait to slip on these blue slouchy socks ($8) with lace-up Oxford pumps ($90).

Flirty and fun look

Flirty and fun

There’s something about ankle socks that’s just a little bit flirty and fun, but add some straightforward high-power pumps and the look takes an elegant turn with a hint of sexiness. We immediately fell for these mesh dot ankle socks ($12) and plan to pair them with these black leather court shoes ($90).

Red all over look

Red all over

Red shoes are the epitome of sexy, but add some cute ankle socks and you get a balanced but oh-so-stylish look. Start with this pair of tie dye lace ankle socks ($8) and add a bold red patent heel ($50).

Strappy style look

Strappy style

At first we were a little wary about knee high socks with something strappy, but the cute combo is a surprisingly stylish one. Try these gray cable knit knee high socks ($12) with black ankle strap pumps ($78).

Mad for Mary Jane

Give new life to your Mary Janes by pairing them with some near-transparent trouser socks for an elegant yet playful look. We like these sparkle trouser socks ($7) paired with black and burgundy color block Mary Jane heels ($40).

I've always been a little afraid to try this look, especially at my age. I'm 40 and not sure if I'll look on-trend or has-been?? I love fashion and it's not out of my normal style routine to try fun, hip styles so maybe I could give it a shot. I do really like the lacey-polka dot socks with the black pumps. Maybe that's the look to try!

I've never heard of this look before but I would definitely be willing to try it! I love wearing socks. In fact, I'll avoid heels because I can't wear them with socks. Glad that's changing!
