Celebrity makeup artist Rosie Johnston created Emily VanCamp's Emmy makeup look last night and gushed on her inspiration: “Emily is wearing a beautiful, kind of 1920s art-deco very pale gray dress, in that it’s structured, but not, and it’s very ethereal, beautiful and youthful. So we went for a very classic look, nothing that would take away from the dress. The look was youthful, classic, extremely polished while also looking effortless."

- Since last night was a super sweaty one in Hollywood, Johnston started by using Talika’s Instant Beauty as a primer. She applied it using a foundation brush all over the face, but mainly focusing on the T-zone. The best part? The product helped give Emily's skin a gorgeous matte meets dewy look.
- To define Emily's already gorgeous brows, Johnston used Talika Eyebrow Extender in Dark Brown to create a nicer form and help her eyebrows look naturally extended out. She applied it straight through once to darken up the brow and add thickness, and then she went back and reapplied in thinner areas.
- To emphasize Emily's beautiful eyes, Johnston started off by using Talika’s Heated Eyelash Curler. To create a thicker lash look, she applied a light coat of mascara, and then went back over, while the mascara was still wet, and applied the Talika Lash Extender for added volume and length. Next, she added another coat of thicker mascara on top.
