Fall Footwear Report

Who doesn’t love heels? We’re huge fans and have a decidedly large collection, but that doesn’t stop us from shopping for more! That’s why this week on Pretty Little Things (where we bring you our favorite finds online), we’re talking heels.

Oxford heels

Oxford heels

We couldn’t resist this cute pair of lace-up oxfords with a sky high heel (anthropologie.com, $165). The menswear-inspired shoe has stuck around for a few seasons and is showing no signs of going anywhere. Wear this pair with a pencil skirt, pretty button up blouse and thick knit tights for a fall-ready office outfit.

Cap toe heels

Add a splash of color to your shoe collection with a pair of bold jade patent leather pumps featuring a navy heel and cap toe (jcrew.com, $268). We love the vibrant hue and the fact that these heels will instantly add interest to any fall outfit you put together.

Wedge booties

If you feel like you need some height but don’t want to teeter around on regular heels all day, we suggest slipping on a pair of these Marc by Marc Jacobs platform wedge booties in soft gray suede (shopbop.com, $295). Pair these with anything from skinny jeans to dresses and tights.

Brown pumps

Brown pumps

Swap basic black for this pair of rich chocolaty brown Tory Burch pumps with an almond toe and stacked heel (neimanmarcus.com, $295). Perfect for pairing with any one of fall’s go-toe hues (yellow, royal blue and eggplant to name a few), these heels are an ideal addition to your at-work wardrobe.

Zipper booties

Ankle booties remain a fall fixture this season and we don’t mind one bit. The easy-wearing heels go with just about anything and they make getting ready a snap. Take this black zip-up pair for example (modcloth.com, $70). The sleek look, subtly pointed toe and stacked heel and aforementioned zipper on the side make them a fall must-have.

I love oxfords, heel or no heel, but those are pretty darn cute. They always class up an outfit, especially now that it's starting to cool down. Pencil skirt, nice jacket and those oxfords--adorbz!

I like the oxford heels. They're different, but would look great with skinny jeans for a night out on the town. Great picks!!

Zippers always add an edge to a look, so I love the zipper booties. I actually just love wedges and booties this season. Anything oxford is a hit as well. I have not gotten into the cap toe craze yet, but we'll see.

The wedge booties are great! I love that they're different. I'm all about trying fun, new styles this season. Can't wait to pick up a pair of these.

Love all these shoes! Especially the brown heels and cap toe heels. I've never liked the peep toe look, but think the cap toe is a nice change from that. Thanks for pointing all these great shoes out!
