Boho chic

Remember when Mary Kate and Ashley started a new craze around the bohemian fashion trend? At first they had a tendency to wear pieces that forgot they had a figure to flaunt. Since then, they have refined their boho ways to be much more chic, fitted where appropriate and baggy in all the right places. We created our own boho chic look by matching a classic white dress with silver accessories that look a little roughed up (like treasure you find in your grandma's jewelry box) and headbands that sit on the crown of your head. Really, what's a boho look without mastering head pieces?

1

Turn to none other than Topshop for a cute white maxi dress. Their take on the white maxi adds a little lace for vintage texture and a nipped waist that will still flaunt your figure, without sacrificing the flowing appearance that is classic to the bohemian trend.

Also note: This look is perfect for that transitional period between summer and fall and you can break it out for spring occasions, too! Talk about being seasonally diverse.

We love an haute headband! The one photographed was made by one of own our SheKnows designers (Super cute, right?). You can visit her Etsy shop here and pick out your favorites. Or opt for the Flora Bandeau headband from Motel Rocks. Either way, if you're trying to be chic in the world of bohemian fashion, you'll need a headband to seal the deal.

With a pair of Levi's and a cowboy hat, this antique style ring would swing too far into the southwest, but when removed from its original environment, the turquoise stone and silver finish give a pretty white dress a vintage edge.
