It's no secret that Bethenny Frankel is one business-savvy chick, but did you know she's also pretty beauty smart too? Yep, the reality star is debuting her own signature hairstyle at Drybars everywhere!
Get the look!
If you're a fan of Bethenny's Bravo show, Bethenny Ever After, you probably saw her debut her new Skinnygirl Cocktail Ponytail last week. Inspired by the Skinnygirl Margarita and the Skinnygirl logo, the flirty style is available exclusively at Drybar locations around the country and is a refreshing twist on the classic pony.
Every Drybar location is now offering the pony (in addition to their current cocktail-inspired blowouts!), paired with the guilt-free Skinnygirl Margarita and the White Cranberry Cosmo. Even better, Skinnygirl Cocktails is now giving out gift certificates for Skinnygirl ponies at Drybar, so you can test drive the style for free! Head on over to their Twitter page to check out the details!
We chatted with Allie Webb, co-founder and owner of Drybar, to get the scoop on the hottest new hairstyle in town!
SK: How can women create Skinnygirl Cocktail Ponytail at home?
AW: You would think it’s easy, but there’s a lot that goes into it. You’ve got to smooth the hair, for one — you don’t want a bunch of ridges. Pull it up into a ponytail (high on the head) and use a curling iron on the ends for added bounce.
SK: What makes this style so special?
AW: The ponytail is timeless and chic. The Skinnygirl ponytail is set up higher on the head than your average ponytail. It's sleek and has a slight curl at the end for added bounce. It's sweet and sophisticated at the same time.
SK: Why did Drybar partner with Skinnygirl Cocktails?
AW: We’ve been a big fan of Bethenny for a while. I work with a bunch of girls, and they’re all about Skinnygirl — we love the margaritas. Everybody’s been raving about them. We loved the idea of partnering with Bethenny Frankel and Skinnygirl Cocktails. Our menu is a cocktail menu of hairstyles, so it’s a good synergy.
