Call The Fashion Police!
Oops... even celebrities get it wrong sometimes! We're telling you why Aubrey O'Day and Ashlee Simpson's maxi dresses fell short in our new weekly feature. Learn from the stars' sartorial slip ups and fashion mistakes!
The reality television alum is no stranger to the spotlight, but when Aubrey O'Day hit the carpet in NYC for the Crystal Light Mocktails launch party, we noticed something was missing.
Let's see... the Celebrity Apprentice contestant wore a brightly colored maxi dress, which is totally still a spring trend. Unlike Denise Richards, she remembered to add a belt to cinch the waist and give her a more flattering figure.
We're OK with her gold accessories, which she kept fairly simple (this is a girl who dyes her own dogs, after all). And although her red hair is a bit overteased and the smoky eye is heavy, that's not our problem with this look on Aubrey.
It seems the former Danity Kane singer forgot to put on a bra before she left the house! Although the maxi dress has a white sheer tank dress underneath it, Aubrey definitely needs to cover up her ample assets. We can all see her headlights on full display here at the Trump Soho Hotel.
This isn't the first time she's suffered a major wardrobe malfunction and fashion mistake. Last year, Aubrey stepped out sans bra yet again with cleavage spilling out of her silk dress.
The final verdict? Bras are your friend. It's never in style to be one second away from a nip slip or overexposure.

Here we have yet another maxi dress gone majorly wrong. Bronx's mama usually has great style. We love her funky, boho chic look! But maybe when she headed Down Under to Sydney for the grand opening of Marquee, she forgot to pack her fashion sense?
What else could explain this animal-print disaster? Ashlee took a walk on the wild side with this snakeskin maxi, but she's drowning in all of the layers. The hem is dragging on the purple carpet and the ruffled waistline creates a strange silhouette. We'd prefer to see a more streamlined version with cleaner lines to show off her fabulous figure.
And what's up with her leopard print purse? When you're wearing such a bold print already, you should keep your accessories simple. A black clutch would have been a much better choice. Perhaps she could borrow one from her sister Jessica's line?
The final verdict? Don't get carried away with your animal instincts. Stick to one statement piece at a time when trying out the trend to avoid a fashion mistake.
