On first look, this product is almost too good to be true. It claims to hydrate, brighten, protect and is infused with lush and natural botanicals. So far so good! For oilier skin, the news is even better. It's an oil-free formula. Combination and acne-prone skin, you can leap for joy now... For a product that promises to provide a "translucent veil of color" (which it does -- check out the photos), it does a bang up job of protecting your skin from the sun. SPF 30 is about really what everyone needs, and the fact that a tinted moisturizer can give you this level of protection is stellar. But that's not all: It has anti-aging benefits too. It aims to reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots in just four weeks. I've been using mine for two weeks now and I definitely see a difference, and of course what you don't want anyone to see you can easily cover up. One of the key reasons I love this moisturizer is that the coverage is sheer but quite adequate for spring/summer days. You don't want your face to feel bare and naked when you wear a tinted moisturizer, and NARS Pure Radiant gives you that glow without skimping on coverage. That said, it definitely will not give you the same results as a full coverage foundation (don't even think about it), nor was it designed for that purpose. I also love the fact that Pure Radiant is deliciously light yet effective. Its mineral-rich seawater formula makes your skin really glow -- as though you just received a hydrating facial. It comes in nine delicious shades, all the way from Alaska (extremely fair) to Polynesia. A delightful way to go around the world, and all for just $42 a pop.
