Kate Middleton and Olivia Palermo's looks made us do a double take this week! We're telling you why in this week's installment of Friday’s Fashion Obsessions.
Can you tell by now that we're just a tad obsessed with Kate Middleton's fashion sense? Yep, the girl has made our Friday's Fashion Obsessions two times already in the last month and she's at it again with this style. If we could, we would seriously take up residence in her closet... wouldn't you?
The beautiful royal looked stunning in an on trend peplum ensemble (huge for spring!!) this week during a visit to Leicester for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. So what was she wearing? The Huffington Post reports that Kate was sporting LK Bennett's Jude jacket in teal over the brand's knee-length Davina dress in the same color. She finished off the look with a James Lock hat, nude tights and black Episode heels.
The final verdict? We're loving the color of her matching outfit and are obsessed with the peplum detail and that cute belt. Keep up the good fashion work, Kate!
Olivia Palermo is pretty famous for putting together fashionable outfits, and the stylista did just that during Paris Fashion Week this week.
We're digging the monochromatic look -- black is, after all, one of the fashion world's darling colors, and Olivia pulled off the Paris-chic look perfectly here -- and the satin material in this look. To be honest, at first glance, we thought she was wearing shorts and a blazer, but upon closer inspection, we realized it was a LBD!
The final verdict? We like it... we like this style a lot. The look is fun, professional and fashion-forward all at the same time, and we can appreciate that. We would have liked to see Palermo have a bit more fun with her accessories, but other than that, the look is, as the French say, tres chic!
