![]() Gwyneth Paltrow talks spring fashionWant to dress like Gwyneth Paltrow? You better have about $20,000 to spare. The actress' notorious goop newsletter hit email inboxes on Thursday with recommendations on how to spruce up your spring wardrobe — that is, if you have a huge income. "The idea is to mix and match high and low with your own personal style," Paltrow wrote of the upcoming season's style. The outfits are adorable, but it's better to mix and match if you're on a budget (like us)! Casual day with boyfriend jeans"A cool way to dress up your usual jeans for day," the mom of Apple and Moses wrote of her casual daywear picks. A link in the newsletter takes you to a special page on Net-a-Porter that offers each of her recommended pieces for sale.
A sampling:
From day to nightWhen Gwynnie wants to go out, she chooses this blue striped Alexander Wang dress. The cost? $650. She covers it up with a $2,645 Rick Owens asymmetric leather jacket and $795 Pierre Hardy heels. Don't worry about the price, though. Paltrow says you can wear the Wang dress to the office with some $350 Diane von Furstenberg sandals, a $530 blue acne blazer or $1,695 Christian Louboutin booties.
You get the idea — and she has tons more fashion trend suggestions for your sartorial needs. Paltrow has some really, really, really expensive taste. We'd love to have this wardrobe, but our mortgages cost less than some of the jewelry she suggests. Instead, we'll just dream — unless you want to take us shopping on your black AmEx, Gwyn. We won't hold our breath, though.
