OK, so the Grammys are about music and celebrating all the wonderful artists the industry has to offer. But for us, it's as much about the beauty! We're recapping the night in hair, so hold on tight and get ready for last night's hits... and a few misses.

Who could miss Rihanna's newly blonde hair last night? The sexy singer, who's been sporting ugly red strands (hey, we think they were ugly!) for quite some time pleasantly surprised us with her lighter look. We're not digging the dark roots so much and feel like the hairstyle needs a tad more fine tuning, but this is definitely a step in the right direction for Rihanna.

Taylor Swift

Best in show

The Speak Now singer -- and Grammy nominee -- has been sporting sleek, straight locks for the past few months, and last night she took the look to a whole new level with this tight, low-key updo. Taylor's a beautiful girl, and she has a great head of hair, but the hairstyle is a tad too harsh for our liking. We much more prefer the braided 'do she switched to during her Grammy performance later in the show.

Katy Perry

Best in show

The newly single California girl wowed the crowd in her bold blue 'do last night. We're not really fans of the blue, but we love Katy so we can sort of look past that little detail. Now the hairstyle... that is a winner in our book. Katy has such striking features and wonderful bone structure and this updo really lets her true beauty shine.

Kelly Rowland

Best in show

This girl can sing, that's for sure, but we're not too happy with her look last night. Kelly has such beautiful features, but she does have a long face... a long face that looks even longer with this dramatic look. The hairstyle is just too big and too wild for her face and we wish she would've done something a bit less dramatic.

Miranda Lambert

Mrs. Blake Shelton looked simply lovely at last night's Grammys. We love the tousled simplicity of her touchable waves and think the country crooner hit it just right with her casual meets feminine look.
