Vamp It Up For A Last Minute Costume!
So, you waited until the last minute for that Halloween costume. We understand. Well, we've got a really fast and easy costume for you: Twilight vampires. Hey, Breaking Dawn Part 1 is opening soon, so you'll be right on trend.
Need more Halloween makeup ideas? The baseThis one couldn't be simpler. These bloodsuckers don't have fangs, so no messy mouth glue that makes you drool. They sparkle in the sun — piece of cake. They wear street clothes — raid your closet. What could be easier? So here's how you start. First, choose a foundation one shade lighter than your skin for a bit of pallor. Then dust a shimmer all over your face and hands... don't forget the neck. We love Nars Highlighting Blush in Albatross, but any shimmer will do. Just dust with a fluffy brush. You can even add in a little glitter if you like. Halloween screams over the top, so go as far as you want.
Lips, cheeks and eyesFor the rest of the makeup, we suggest Nars Blush in Super Orgasm. (Yes, we love the name too.) It has a great shimmer to keep the theme going. We love a great red lipstick with this since it will enhance the pallor. Try a Lip Tar from one of our favorite brands, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. Stalker is the perfect shade and the line is vegan! (See? A nod to the vegetarian vampires in Twilight.) For the eyes, do your normal makeup, but rim the eyes with a maroon shadow to give the look of the undead... vampires don't sleep, you know. We love Make Up Forever's Wine Red. Vamp it up, ladies! Happy Halloween!
