New And Improved

Shopping for nail polish just got a lot easier!

OPI iPhone app

We're huge nail polish fans here at SheKnows, but we're also fans of trying before buying. That's why we love OPI's iPod Touch and iPhone app so much. And now there's more to love: The nail polish experts at OPI have revamped their popular app and you can now browse and search over 200 OPI nail lacquer shades at faster speeds.

The same old app many of you have likely come to know and love still features fan favorites like the Try It On Color Studio (where you can take a look at all current OPI shades), but there are some exciting new additions to love.

"The improved OPI App gives fans the chance to try on lacquers easier than before. The App's Try it on Studio has been hugely popular, and we are happy to improve upon and expand it," says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. "It's a great resource when choosing your lacquer at the salon, since you can get an idea of how a color looks on your hand before committing."

Check out a few of the newest features:

  • The Try It On Color Studio now lets you search for retired shades
  • The new and improved OPI App includes higher resolution images and runs faster than before
  • You can now run the app while using other programs, namely Facebook and can check OPI's Facebook page without ever having to leave the OPI App.

Check out the free app (compatible with all iPhone and iPod Touch devices running iOS5) at Apple.com!

I had no idea OPI had an app to try on polish shades. It's such a great idea! I just might have to download it right now.

Hi there, I'm aware this is an old article, but I thought I'd try anyway. I installed the app on my iPhone, but I don't see all the collections I see on my iPad. Could this be a setting or something? I hope you can help me with this.Im a huge OPI fan and can't wait to use the app. Greetings, Katharina
