It's finally that time of year again: Fashion Week! New York Fashion Week for Spring 2012 officially starts tonight with the two-year-old celebration of shopping and all things fabulous: Fashion's Night Out.
Launched in 2009, Fashion's Night Out is a collaboration between stores and labels designed to bring us civilians closer to the inside world of fashion by doing (what else?) shopping.
Stores all over the country are planning their own special events to bring in Fashion Week in style, though the vast majority of celebrity spotting will happen in New York and Los Angeles.
Here's a few of the major highlights of this year's Fashion's Night Out. It's going to be bananas!
We cannot wait for Missoni for Target to launch this month. The iconic Italian fashion label apparently can't wait either -- Target launched a pop-up shop in Manhattan to celebrate the collaboration. From all accounts, the collection is going to be super chic -- and will sell out from stores quickly.
The Kardashian sisters will make an appearance at their SoHo DASH location tonight, along with some tunes from Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D. Will they be shilling their Kardashian Kollection too? We'd put money on it -- these girls never pass up a publicity opportunity.
Macy's in Manhattan's Herald Square will play host to a ton of celebrities and fashion icons tonight, including Kelly Rowland, Samantha Ronson, Joss Stone and Miss J Alexander from America's Next Top Model. You'll also have the opportunity to get fashion, hair and make-up tips from some of the top in the industry.
Sak's Fifth Avenue will play host to a whole slew of super fab fashion people, including hair guru Frederic Fekkai, Yigal Azrouel, Christian Cota and Prabal Gurung. Questlove from The Roots is also scheduled to spin.
We're just scratching the surface of all Fashion's Night Out has to offer this year. You can find the whole slew of events on the official Fashion's Night Out website -- and you can even download an iPhone app to help with your event scheduling.
