Kim Kardashian's big day is quickly approaching, and we couldn't be more excited. What will be the couple's first song? Who exactly was invited? What will the decor look like? There are still many unanswered questions, but the biggest is undoubtedly Kim's dress. The celebrity recently revealed that Vera Wang will be designing her wedding gown. The uncertainty has us reminiscing about bridal gowns of the past, and how Kim's will compare.

Katy Perry took us by surprise when she revealed that she was to be married in a long, gray, French couture gown. Maybe Kim will follow in equally traditional footsteps as she says "I do" this week.
