New Nail Polish!
For a true fashionista, the day a new OPI collection comes out is like Christmas all over again. Which is why we could hardly contain our excitement when we heard there was not one, but TWO new lines coming to stores this month: Glam Slam! and Miss Universe Lacquers. More glittery, shiny, shade options? Yes, please.
Glam Slam! by OPI
OPI has teamed up with tennis star Serena Williams to bring you the next best thing in nail polish color. We know what you're thinking... and we agree: your go-to nail polish brand AND Olympic gold-medal winning idol? Sounds like a match made in beauty heaven. The last two colors in the collection have just been announced. Love is a Racket and Pros and Bronze round out the 2011 Glam Slam! shades. The shimmery red and shining bronze compliment existing colors such as Grape...Set...Match! and Servin' Up Sparkle. We can't wait to get our hands on these new polishes for the names alone.
The colors in the Glam Slam! collection have been introduced in accordance with the four major tennis tournaments. Each bottle is selling for $15. Buy two so you can layer one great color over another.
Miss Universe by OPI
Feel as glamorous as Miss Universe herself while sporting these new nail colors. OPI introduces four brand new, limited-edition shades. The colors range from blue (Swimsuit...Nailed It!) to champagne-rose (It's MY Year). And they all sparkle! Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director, revealed her thoughts about joining forces in the creation of new, unique colors, "We are excited to partner with the Miss Universe Organization, whose contestants provided so much inspiration for rich, high-fashion color."
Shades in this collection are selling for $9 each. This September, as you're watching one of the biggest pageants in the world, wearing this polish is a must.
You will be able to purchase these new shades starting this month in certain Salons as well as stores like Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Dillard's, JCPenney, and ULTA.
