The sixties changed women's fashion forever with the invention of the mini skirt in 1964. Mod was in and featured these short skirts in bright colors and patterns. Toward the latter half of the decade, the "angel dress" came into style with its short, flared skirt and wide trumpet long sleeves. Psychedelic prints tend to look cheesy now, but bold colors always make bold statements.
