Out On The Town

We hit the streets to see what YOU were wearing this summer. Oh-so-stylish fashionistas from Hartford, Connecticut, Walla Walla, Washington, San Antonio, Texas and as far away as Sydney, Australia posed to show off their travel-friendly picks. A few pieces struck us as being must-haves for a gal on the go. We'll show you where to get these essentials for your summer packing list so they can go straight from the store into your suitcase.

Meet mary and her matching cross-body

Her cross-body bag is perfect for the modern day jet-setter. You won't have to worry about clasping onto a clutch or a purse slipping off your shoulder. Cross-body bags ensure that you know where your belongings are at all times. They come in all shapes and sizes so you can store all your travel needs, wherever you may be. The belt buckle look is our fashion favorite just like this young fashionista's. While big bags are ideal for airport and train travel, smaller cross-body bags are perfect for storing a phone and keys on nights out in your favorite new city.

Delicately creamy

This creamy Claire medium cross-body from Banana Republic is sophisticated and delicate making it the perfect cross-body bag to trot around in the South of France or Capri Island. Its subtle chain links and unique color will match almost any outfit you have in mind.

Go earthy

To channel a bohemian look, try this Verch bag from Aldo and let your inner-Nicole Richie come out. This style of cross-body is perfect for a day of sightseeing or museum-going as it securely and comfortably holds all your belongings in place.

Seriously sophisticated

For the girl traveling abroad for the summer, this Essex small scout Kate Spade cross-body bag will be your best friend. It has two buckles that keep your items secure with durable cowhide material so it won't fall apart on you. The studious look it has to it doesn't hurt either.

Low-maintenance lady

If you're a lady who doesn't need much purse room, then this Messenger Bag from H&M will give you major style without taking up major room. The darker color gives this cross-body bag a midwestern look while being versatile enough to look bohemian. Wear this with either style and you'll be sure to lasso some looks.
