How to get Zooey Deschanel's retro vibe

Zooey Deschanel first caught our eye with her quirky retro vibe in the movie 500 Days of Summer, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that her off-screen look is as fun as her on-screen style.

How would Zooey describe her look? "I would say girly, flirtatious, colorful. Feminine, maybe, and soft. But, yeah, definitely colorful," she told Lucky magazine.

From printed cotton dresses to opaque tights and bows, Zooey has the retro look down perfectly, however, she often adds a quirky touch (purple heels, bows in her hair) that make the look all her own.
