Va-va-voom! Samantha Harris rocked the newest trend in hairstyles at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards -- big hair! That's right, bombshell hair is back and it looks amazing on Samantha. To create her full, voluminous curls and front pouf, follow these easy steps.
Spray clean wet hair with texturizing or volumizing spray and massage into your roots.
Blow dry hair, pulling the hair up and away from the scalp to ensure extra volume at the roots, like Samantha's.
With a 1-1/2-inch barrel curling iron, curl hair in small sections (1-2 inches) vertically and away from your face.
Release the hold after 15 seconds, then roll the curl and bobby pin it to your head to hold it in place while you do the other sections.
When you are finished with all the sections of hair, spray lightly with medium hold hairspray, then undo all the bobby pins and gently work your fingers to loosen up the curls. Do not shake your head or brush the curls.
Take about a 2-inch wide section of hair (or your bangs, if you are trying to grow them out) and back-comb them gently away from your forehead. Push the hair forward to create a "pouf", then secure it with bobby pins.
Spray lightly with hairspray.
Voila! Even if you are not going to the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, you can rock sexy bombshell hair!
