3 Trendy teens inspire our summer fashion sense

Out On The Town

We caught friends and budding fashionistas, Sheldon and Addison, out shopping, and we loved their bright colors and lax style. A shoulder baring t-shirt, like the ones these gals sport, looks like it could keep us cool on hot summer days while still managing to look put together. Between these two friends and our third fashionista-in-the making, Isabel, we were inspired by colorful fashion statements.

An Addison-approved approach to summer fashion

Addison first caught our eye with her Marc Jacob's pink framed sunglasses but when we stepped back to take in the whole picture, we realized we had found a fashion goldmine. Even though she described her style as "simple", we think her ensemble provides some great hints at what fun colors are hot right now. She gives a nod to the ethnic trend with her funky purse, and isn't afraid to walk on the wild side given her choice of studded, lace-up sandals. Steal her look with a fun crossbody bag and detailed sandals. Pick a slouchy shirt in a solid neutral or pair with capris to make the look a bit more grown-up.
