Too long in the sun? We can help!

So, you were a bad girl. You forgot the sunscreen and burned your skin. Alright, maybe it just wore off. We won't tell anyone. So now what do you do? We just found a fantastic after sun product that will fix you right up.

Ahava Aftersun Rehydrating Balm

We've all done it. You've stayed out in the sun too long and burned yourself. Whether you ''forgot'' to put it on or you just missed a spot, you know how awful it feels. Now, nothing is going to take away the burn or the pain. It's a good reminder to put on the SPF 30 next time. But after the damage you did to your skin, you have to take extra care of it.

We've been fans of Ahava for years. This company from Isreal makes some amazing skin products. Their moisturizers actually keep you moisturized! Imagine that! Plus, they smell lovely. We've actually been stopped and asked what fragrance we were wearing. Well, Ahava has just come out with a wonderful after-sun product called Ahava Aftersun Rehydrating Balm that can be used on both face and body. It's even suitable for children's delicate skin.

The reason we're in love with this one? It's not gooey. It's not oily. It's not slimy like other post-burn products. And it's not sticky like aloe. This product actually sinks into the skin.

During our product test, we had one volunteer (who shall remain nameless so her mother doesn't yell at her about being silly enough to forget to reapply) with burned arms use the product on one side and not the other. She is currently glaring at the team because one arm is peeling and the other looks lovely and tan.

We were hardly surprised at how well this worked. We just didn't expect how great it felt! (One of us even found her husband using it on his shaved head as a moisturizer.)

Ahava Aftersun Rehydrating Balm is available for $28 at Ulta.com.
