Most of us can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe every season, so we have to shop smart to get the most bang for the buck. Stay chic this summer by adding budget-friendly, colorful or unique accessories to your look.
With the right shoes, handbag or accessories, no one will even notice you are wearing last year's dress. This summer, invest in one of these pieces to give any outfit a fresh, new appeal.
Shield sunglasses
Aviators aren't the only hot style in sunglasses this year. Shield sunglasses offer a modern edge that suits everyone. We love the AX Armani Exchange Rimless Shield Sunglasses, priced at just $65 at Nordstrom. The slight wrap shape offers full sun protection and lots of style.
A bag that pops
Look for a medium sized bag that you can carry every day. Embrace color. Cobalt blue, hot pink and racy red are all perfect for summertime. But what's really hot this year are citrus shades. We love the Culture Phit Bree Bow Braid Hobo in orange or yellow. At under $100 from Zappos, this roomy faux leather bag is a fantastic buy.
At the royal wedding, all eyes were on the hats. And though you might not want to wear some of the outrageous headwear we saw at Westminster Abbey, the right hat can make your outfit. This summer, whether you are sunning poolside or having drinks at an outdoor party, wear a wide-brimmed sunhat. For plenty of sun protection and a touch of glamour, get the Raffia Braid Sunhat from Shopbop, priced at $98.
Unique shoes
No matter what you are wearing, put all eyes on your shoes by picking sandals with unusual heels, interesting materials or fancy embellishments. Check out these gorgeous Pelle Moda 'Basil' Sandals with studded details, wooden platforms and intricate beading over the open-toe. Priced at $150, these pretty sandals are perfect for a summer party.
Its too expensive for me but they are all adorable especially the shoes. :) I enjoyed watching the Pink and yellow french manicure video. I might try it one of these days.
By the way, found this site on the list of top 100 websites for women 2012 on Forbes - Congratulations!

Woah! That is supposed to be affordable! 100 bucks for a sun hat? No thank you ma'am. I can revamp my whole wardrobe for that much. You just have to shop smart, and you can find GREAT deals on all this stuff, for less than half the cost. If you shop at recycle boutiques--stores that take in high quality and designer used goods--you can save a boatload of money and be in high style.
