Drew Barrymore debuts new red hair

New love, new 'do? That seems to be what's happening with Drew Barrymore. The Going the Distance actress appeared at an L.A. event earlier this week sporting some red tresses. Perhaps her new boyfriend, art consultant WillKopelman, requested the change?

Barrymore wore the ombre style for the last several months. The ombre – dark, dark roots with light ends – fit her well. However, the actress is known for changing up her hair color and length from time to time. We're not really feeling the new red look, so let's take a look back at some of Drew's awesome 'dos over the years.

The ombre style either looks really good -- or really bad -- on those who wear it. Barrymore definitely fits into the "really good" category. Need proof? Here she is at a recent Cover Girl event.

Barrymore had a wild past -- and her love of a free-love lifestyle comes out from time to time. Take for instance this 2010 photo outside a London talk show. Barrymore's rocking the ombre with some sexy waves and braids. The hairstyle is a perfect match for the belly-baring outfit (check out her butterfly tat!)

Drew's blue tips

Barrymore flashed some blue-streaked hair while promoting her roller derby film Whip It. We couldn't do it, but it fits her personality.

This is probably our favorite Drew style, mostly because it's simple and sexy, just like her personality.
