Jennifer Lopez dishes beauty in People magazine

American Idol's Jennifer Lopez was just named People's Most Beautiful Woman! We think it's high time a woman graced the cover of this iconic issue – and Lopez is the perfect fit.

Lopez, 41, dishes on everything from her new album, Love?, to her family life. That's all great and all, but we'd rather hear her beauty secrets. Thankfully, J. Lo shares it all.

On makeup

Lopez says she loves getting glammed up for events, but she prefers the make-up free look at home.

"That's when I'm my happiest," Lopez told People. "Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It's so much better."

On exercise

Lopez, 41, competed in a triathlon six months after giving birth to her twins, Max and Emme, 3.

"The thing is, it's part of my job," the singer and actress said of her intense workouts and portion-controlled diet. "I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!"

On her twins

Lopez and her husband, singer Marc Anthony, love the emerging personalities of their twins.

"She is very girly-girl, just like me since I was very little. She loves for me to paint her nails," Lopez said of Emme. "She lays out her clothes on the floor like I do with my stylist and she's like, 'This matches very good!'"

As for Max? He likes a little primping too!

"He wants to paint his nails too. Because for him, it's just paint. He's like, 'I want the blue!'" Lopez said. "Then Marc is like, 'Why are Max's nails painted?!' But he won't sit still so it's only like two nails."

On her diva reputation

J. Lo earned a rep as a bit of a diva over the years – and now she embraces the title.

"I kind of like it. We've kind of owned it now. But I certainly don't like and I've never been a person who has what they call 'diva behavior,' which is something they tried to pin on me for a long time," Lopez said.
